Melbourne, the cloudy city
Part two of our mini holiday was going to Melbourne to see Geoff, an old friend from New Zealand. He was actually my neighbour back in the day and he’s one of those people who you know will be in your life forever. I caught up with him for a day in November (my first visit to Melbourne) but the weather was extreme and all we could do was shop (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it).
When we arrived in Melbourne it was pretty cold. Hubby was trying to do the manly thing and bear it in a t-shirt but you just know he isn’t coping when you see his face twist as he’s blasted by cold wind. What can yo do though, except to wrap up and carry on.
We walked through the city the entire afternoon and took photos as we walked through. Not one to be left out, Geoff grabbed his camera as well even though he’s lived in Melbourne for over three years. So there we were, three tourists amazed by every little detail of this great city.
Here are my favourite shots, but you can see them all on my Flickr account.

As always, sensational photography. And Dan looks uber-stylin’ as usual too!
