Rossi’s Oscars – an evening to remember

Rossi’s Oscars was the perfect way to experience the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. Now in its 16th year, Rossi’s Oscars were raising funds for the National Breast Cancer foundation with the help of some talented, famous friends.

Hosted by ‘Mr Hollywood’ Damien Anthony Rossi the evening had glorious entertainment by Rhonda Burchmore – who I want to be when I grow up. This woman is absolutely amazing.

Also amazing are Chelsea De Luca and George Wu whose designs were on show in the most celebtastic fashion show of the year. Celebrity models included Liz Cantor, Melissa Downes, Sofie Formica, Sharyn Ghidella, Georgie Lewis, Emily Jade O’Keefe, Loretta Ryan and Camilla Severi. Make up was by Napoleon Perdis and hair by Oscar Oscar.

Hubby and I had the privilege of meeting George Wu, we actually met his partner Stuart earlier in the evening (both are actually very lovely). We also met Sofie Formica and her hubby. We didn’t realise she was a TV presenter until it was pointed out later on – don’t you love it when you’re new to a city?

All in all a wonderful night, thanks to Limes Hotel for putting the evening on.
