New label: United by Bird jewellery (Sydney)

Last month my husband Danny and I launched United by Bird jewellery. We both have a background in art and we love designing and making jewellery.

We started with earrings and are about to expand into necklaces, bracelets and rings – I’m sure you can appreciate that these things take time when you’re self funded.

In the meantime we’re proud to bring you the latest collection called ‘Lovers & Sinners’.

Why United by Bird?

We are happily married but it wasn’t until we got Lilly and Lewis (our fur kids) that we started to feel like a family. Lewis has this beautiful and totally unusual bird shaped marking on his back. Some say it looks like and angel, other see a bird with open wings. For us it made sense to name our label United by Bird because we do feel so close and definitely united because of our babies.

Danny and I designed and made the current range although Danny prefers to work in cast silver (more on that later). I’m very much a colour and texture fan, and that’s evident in our designs.
