Geometric heaven – octagon sunglasses
Geometry was never my forte, let’s be honest. It always seemed like it was the most tedious thing in the world and I could not figure out when I would actually need it. Bore! But if geometry was as exciting as these sunglass styles, I swear I would have paid more attention student.

On Trend: Bodysuits
Now that the weather has started to cool a little (emphasis on ‘little’ – this is Brisbane after all) I am turning my thoughts towards an autumn wardrobe (I was going to say ‘winter’, but that’s so far away!). Feeling crafty
I’ve had a bit of time on my hands this week and I thought ‘You know, I could totally make something’. I looked at my brand new sewing machine and I thought, ‘Yup, let’s do it’. So instead of making something myself I thought I’d write about a crafty lady who is making uber cool things.
Melbourne – Harem Boutique

When to update your visual branding
According to Wikipedia “The Visual Brand Language is branding terminology for a unique “alphabet” of design elements – such as shape, color, materials, finish, typography and composition – which directly and subliminally communicate a company’s values and personality through compelling imagery and design style. This “alphabet”, properly designed, results in an emotional connection between the brand and the consumer.”
Done and done!

To ruffle or not to ruffle?
Check out these bags from Icelandic designer Hrafnhildur Guðrúnardóttir, of Hidden Goods (www.hiddengoods.net). An explosion of ruffles if I ever saw one.
